The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) recommends a formal skin check every 12 months.
Please inform reception at the time of booking that you require a longer 'Skin Check' appointment.
- Routine full skin examinations ("skin checks")
- Cryotherapy
- Biopsies of suspicious skin lesions
- Excision of most skin cancers
- Referral to surgical colleagues, if desired
- Appropriate aftercare following skin cancer removal
- Education about sun avoidance and skin cancer prevention measures
