Q-fever IMMUNISATIONS

Dr Brooke Quigley offers Q-Fever Vaccinations at Ochre Medical Centre Wollongong.

Dr Quigley has completed 'Q-Fever - Early Diagnosis and Vaccination' training through the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACCRM). 
Prior to Q-Fever Vaccination, you will require pre-vaccination screening, comprising of:
  • A comprehensive medical history to determine previous Q-fever exposure or illness           and
  • Pre-vaccination testing, involving:​
  • A blood test to check for Q-fever antibodies​
        followed by
  • A skin prick test, which must be reviewed after seven (7) days
